 's Spectrum-chan has been one of my favorite OC designs for a while, and in the midst of my massive art block, remembering Spectrum-chan really inspired me! I hope you like it, Canfex!I still have art block in my normal style, though. >_>! It's been so long since I've drawn non-chibi, although this style is admittedly very fun to draw. I'm happy with how this turned out since I had soo much trouble with the hair at first, although after I was totally finished with everything, I realized that her face is a little asymmetrical and off-center. ;-;! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. And jeez, this sure is bright and colorful! Now on lots of characters too many bright colors doesn't look good, but this design really pulls it off. You made a good decision making the background more toned down, too-it works much better with the bright character and keeps the focus on it.
I've always really liked how you've shaded hair. It looks great in this. Same with how you draw hair, too, I envy your hair-drawing skills! ;A;
Don't worry about the face, either, I didn't even notice.
